About Me

I’m a straightforward, down-to-earth therapist who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, behavioral issues, relationship challenges, grief, men’s issues, and the general messiness of being human. My style is direct, honest, and grounded. I’m not going to just sit quietly and nod, and I won’t talk at you in circles. We’ll talk like real people and focus on what actually moves the needle. We will have honest, practical, and sometimes even uncomfortable (in a good way) conversations.

I draw from approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), mindfulness, and existential therapy—but more importantly, I tailor things to you. We’ll make sense of what’s going on, understand the patterns that keep showing up, and start doing something about it.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time, either. Humor matters and has a place here. Life is hard enough—sometimes being able to laugh at the absurdity of it all is part of the healing.

 

I offer in-person and telehealth sessions. I currently accept Wellmark BCBS, Aetna, and UHC insurance as well as private pay options.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time outside with my family; biking, camping, and hanging out around the fire.
